Kanchanaburi Province is located in the west and around 129 kilometers away from Bangkok on Nakhon Pathom – Ban Pong Route. Kanchanaburi has a border that is adjacent to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, which is around 371 kilometers long and consists of around 43 natural passes.
The northern bordering Tak Province and Uthai Thani Province.
The Southern bordering Ratchaburi Province.
The Eastern bordering Suphanburi Province and Nakhon Pathom Province.
The Western bordering Kayin State, Mon State, and the Tanintharyi Region of Myanmar.
