Sala Ayutthaya Boutique Hotel ห้องพัก Luxury กลางเมืองอยุธยา
When talking about Ayutthaya province, many people think of a city filled with the beauty and magic of history, adorned with ancient temples from the Ayutthaya era. Beyond coming here for spiritual peace by visiting temples, Ayutthaya also offers beautiful and peaceful accommodations in the heart of the bustling city. One such place is the Sala Ayutthaya Boutique Hotel.
Sala Ayutthaya Boutique Hotel opened in 2014, located on U Thong Road, with one side along the Chao Phraya River, opposite Wat Phutthaisawan, a grand royal monastery known for its beautiful prang (stupa), which was influenced by Khmer architecture. The construction of a prang is believed to symbolize Mount Meru, the center of the universe and the abode of great deities.

Upon checking in at the entrance, you’ll find a small gallery before entering the main hallway, featuring a large 8-meter-high orange brick wall, giving you the sensation of stepping back in time. This spot is, of course, a popular photo spot.
The guest rooms are to the left, leading to the sala (pavilion) and the central swimming pool. This area is a private zone reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
Our room today is a Superior room (No. 24) on the second floor. The room is spacious, with a great view of the entire central pool area. Let’s take a look at the room’s ambiance.
The hotel emphasizes relaxation with a large bathtub, taking up almost half the room. If you want to soak in the tub and relax, you won’t have to worry too much about privacy since there is a curtain separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The distance between the tub and the window is also far enough that you don’t need to worry about anyone looking in. However, for added security, it’s best to check and close the curtains.
At night, the ambiance is beautifully serene like this.
When we checked in, the bellboy informed us that around 6:00 PM, housekeeping would come to clean the room and turn on the lights for the night. However, if you prefer not to have them enter, you can hang the ‘Do not disturb’ sign on the door.
In the morning, it’s time to prepare for breakfast at the SALA Ayutthaya eatery and bar, where you can enjoy beautiful views of Wat Phutthaisawan by the river. Before serving the main meal, there’s a complimentary set provided at every table.
The breakfast menu offers a wide variety of choices. The staff mentioned that each person can choose one main dish, but you can refill it as much as you like.
This trip has left us extremely impressed with the accommodation, giving it a perfect score of 10 out of 10. However, the parking space is quite limited, with fewer than 10 spots in front of the hotel. There’s valet parking service available at another parking area. If you prefer not to drive around Ayutthaya yourself, Grab services are also available in the area.
